Terms of use

Terms of Use & App License

Effective date: September 22, 2026
Agreement version: 2026-09-22

These terms cover the current AeroRadar Live app and website, as well as subsequent updates. For existing users, material changes take effect after any notice or acceptance required by applicable law; existing purchase promises and accrued rights remain protected.

At a glance

AeroRadar Live helps you explore aviation information and follow flights. Verify travel information with your airline or airport. Do not use the service to operate aircraft or make safety-critical decisions. Some features require an account or purchase. Subscription cancellation, account deletion, and uninstalling the app are separate actions. The full provisions below explain your rights and responsibilities.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms are between you and RiseMode Media LLC, operating AeroRadar Live ("AeroRadar," "we," "us"). They cover aeroradarlive.com, the AeroRadar Android application, and the associated consumer services we provide (together, the "Service").

Contact us at support@risemodemedia.com or RiseMode Media LLC, 4400 Park Brooke Trce, Alpharetta, GA 30022-3413, United States.

Please read these terms before using the Service. When we present these terms for acceptance and you select the agreement control, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use features requiring acceptance. We will make the terms available before you agree. Nothing here overrides rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

2. Eligibility and your account

AeroRadar does not impose a general minimum age for using the app. If applicable law requires a parent or legal guardian to agree to these terms or authorize a minor's use, that permission is required. Any legally required parental consent for collecting or processing a child's personal information must be obtained before that processing; accepting these terms alone does not provide that consent. Contact support for assistance with a child's account or information.

To make a purchase, you must meet the minimum age and have the legal capacity required to enter into the purchase in your jurisdiction, and be authorized to use the payment method. If you do not meet those requirements, a legally eligible parent or guardian must make the purchase, where permitted by applicable law and Google Play rules. Google Play account, family, and purchase-approval requirements also apply. Product availability can vary by territory.

Provide accurate account information and take reasonable precautions to protect your sign-in credentials and devices. Do not impersonate someone else, sell your account, or share access to evade purchase or usage restrictions. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own misuse and for activity you authorize; this provision does not make you responsible for failures for which we are legally accountable.

Some features require a supported device, internet connection, current app version, account authentication, or optional device permissions. You are responsible for your connectivity costs. We may require a security update to continue providing affected features.

3. Permission to use the Service

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to install the app on devices you own or control and use the Service for personal, non-commercial informational use. The license does not transfer ownership and ends when your right to use the Service ends under these terms.

Features expressly provided for sharing may be used within their stated limits and applicable source restrictions. Preserve displayed attribution. A subscription does not grant an API, bulk-download, redistribution, resale, or public-broadcast license. Other uses require our written permission unless independently allowed by law or the applicable content license.

4. Aviation safety and official information

The Service is for general information, education, and travel planning. It is not a navigation, dispatch, air traffic control, collision-avoidance, emergency-response, or safety-of-flight system.

Do not use it to operate aircraft or vehicles, select runways or emergency landing locations, make safety-critical decisions, or establish regulatory compliance. Maps, terrain, weather, airspace notices, airport information, and any road or emergency-related displays do not establish that an activity or location is safe, available, or lawful.

Follow instructions from aircraft crews, airlines, airports, emergency services, and aviation authorities. Obtain required operational briefings and official notices from authorized sources. Confirm gates, boarding times, cancellations, connections, and other travel deadlines directly with the airline or airport.

5. Data quality, estimates, history, and notifications

Information can be missing, delayed, duplicated, incorrect, cached, or unavailable. Coverage varies by location, aircraft, source, and time. Aircraft may not be visible because of reception gaps, source restrictions, privacy measures, or other limitations. Absence from the map does not establish that an aircraft is absent from the area.

Displayed movement may use extrapolation between received positions. Routes, arrival estimates, delay indicators, weather overlays, and other calculations may differ from actual conditions. Historical and replay displays describe earlier information and may contain gaps. Labels such as "live" do not promise instantaneous observation or complete coverage.

Alerts depend on available source information, our systems, network delivery, and your device permissions and settings. Notifications may arrive late, more than once, or not at all. They do not replace airline communications or official warnings. Unless expressly included in a separate written agreement, we do not promise a particular update frequency or service-availability percentage.

6. Trials, subscriptions, and promotions

The purchase screen and Google Play checkout identify the offered benefits, price, currency, billing period, and any applicable introductory offer. Only products currently offered to you are available for purchase. Purchase access may require verification against your signed-in AeroRadar account and Google Play purchase record.

An eligible account may start the standalone seven-day trial offered in the app. Starting that trial does not authorize a paid purchase or automatic subscription charge. When it expires, paid features require a separately authorized purchase unless you already have valid paid access. Eligibility is checked for your account; restoring an existing trial does not restart its original period. Any separately offered Google Play introductory or trial offer is governed by the duration, conversion price, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions disclosed before you authorize it.

An auto-renewing subscription renews for the billing period shown when you purchase unless you cancel through Google Play before renewal. Applicable charges, taxes, renewal details, and payment authorizations are presented by Google Play. Introductory prices and coupons apply only for the period and eligibility stated in the offer; the subsequent renewal price must be shown before purchase.

Changes to renewal prices will follow applicable law and Google Play's notice and consent requirements. A new renewal price does not change charges for a period already purchased. Failed payments, refunds, or reversed purchases may affect access according to the verified purchase state and applicable rules. Contact support if a valid purchase is not recognized.

7. Cancellation, refunds, and restoration

Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewals while leaving access through the paid period. Different treatment may apply to an immediate cancellation or refund required or permitted under applicable rules.

Uninstalling AeroRadar or deleting your AeroRadar account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Review your subscription separately before deleting your account.

Refunds are handled according to applicable law, Google Play's rules, and any additional remedy we expressly offer. See Google Play refund guidance or contact our support team for assistance. These terms do not exclude mandatory rights relating to defective, misdescribed, or undelivered services.

Use the app's restore-purchases function with the relevant Google Play and AeroRadar accounts. Restoration requires verification and is not a license to share or resell a purchase. A newly created account after deletion does not automatically inherit paid access. Contact support for a verified transfer review; statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. One-time and lifetime purchases

A one-time purchase does not automatically renew. It provides the benefits and scope disclosed for that product before purchase.

“Lifetime” means the supported commercial life of the AeroRadar Live product purchased, not your lifetime or a promise of perpetual service. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for the included consumer features, without recurring subscription fees, while RiseMode Media LLC, or a successor that assumes the applicable obligations, remains in business and continues to offer and support that product.

Lifetime access ends when the applicable product is permanently withdrawn, retired, or discontinued; when we permanently cease its development or enhancement as part of an announced product retirement; when we permanently end support for that product; or when we cease operating the business that provides it and no successor continues the product and assumes the applicable obligations. We may make these product-lifecycle decisions for business, technical, legal, or operational reasons. A temporary outage, an interval between updates, or the retirement of an older app version while the same product remains supported does not, by itself, end lifetime access.

A lifetime purchase does not require us to operate, maintain, develop, enhance, or support the product indefinitely, or to provide any particular future feature. It covers the product, benefits, and supported platform identified in the offer you purchased. Separate products, separately priced add-ons, and replacement services are included only if expressly promised. An ordinary update or rebranding of the same continuing product does not, by itself, cancel your purchased access.

Access remains subject to these terms, supported-device requirements, and purchase verification. It is personal and cannot be resold or assigned to another person except where applicable law or the purchase offer permits. Restoration on your own eligible account is addressed in section 7.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of permanent product discontinuation or end of support through the website or an appropriate in-app or account channel. A shorter period may be necessary for urgent legal, security, supplier, insolvency, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. On the announced end date, associated online features and lifetime access may cease.

A lifetime purchase has no fixed prepaid term from which an unused balance can ordinarily be calculated. Discontinuation does not itself create a contractual right to a prorated refund, cash value, continued hosting, source code, or a replacement product, except as expressly promised at purchase or required by applicable law or Google Play rules. Nothing in this section removes mandatory remedies, permits misleading sales promises, or retroactively narrows a lifetime entitlement sold on different terms. Any substantial change to purchased benefits remains subject to those protections.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to interfere with aviation operations, threaten or harass people, stalk individuals, evade lawful aircraft-privacy restrictions, or violate another person's rights. Do not submit fabricated airport reports, manipulate community summaries, impersonate others, or provide material you are not entitled to submit.

Do not bypass authentication, payment, security, or usage controls; introduce malicious software; deliberately overload the Service; or obtain unauthorized access. Automated extraction, scraping, bulk copying, data resale, and account resale require express authorization. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering do not apply to activities that applicable law or a relevant open-source license expressly permits.

10. Your information and contributions

You retain any rights you hold in information you submit. You must have authority to import itineraries or submit material relating to another person.

You give us the limited permission needed to receive, process, store, and display your submissions to provide the feature you request, address support issues, and protect the Service, consistent with our Privacy Notice. Our service providers may process submissions for those purposes. This is not a general license to publish your private itinerary, support correspondence, or screenshots.

Airport Pulse accepts predefined airport-condition reports. Their contribution to airport summaries is visible to other users. Submit reports honestly and use official channels for emergencies. Community reports are not independently guaranteed and may be filtered, excluded, or removed if inaccurate, abusive, or unsuitable. Processing and retention follow the Privacy Notice.

We may consider and implement non-confidential product suggestions without owing compensation. This does not change how private information in a support request is handled or transfer ownership of unrelated material you submit.

11. Privacy and optional integrations

Our Privacy Notice explains information handling, optional inputs, service providers, retention, and your choices. Acceptance of these terms is not a substitute for any separate privacy consent the law or a device permission requires.

Optional location, speech, camera, calendar, and itinerary features may require permissions or services provided by others. You can manage relevant permissions through the app, your device, or the connected service. Disabling them may prevent the associated feature from functioning. Check extracted itinerary details before relying on or saving them.

12. Intellectual property and third-party services

We and our licensors retain rights in the app, website, branding, software, and protected content. Maps, aviation data, weather, photographs, marks, and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. Keep required notices and attribution intact. Open-source components are governed by their applicable licenses.

Third-party services you separately choose to use may have their own terms and privacy notices. Required notices for components embedded in AeroRadar are available in the app's legal or attribution information. Third-party outages or license changes can affect available features, but do not remove our obligations to you under applicable law.

When you use Google Maps features, the applicable Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy apply. Additional source attribution and applicable component license notices are available where the corresponding content or feature is displayed. Links to other services do not imply that those services endorse AeroRadar.

13. Changes, interruptions, and ending access

We may maintain, repair, improve, or change the Service, including to address security, compatibility, legal obligations, and changes in source availability. Where practical, we will give advance notice of material changes that adversely affect paid benefits. Changes will not remove remedies required by law.

We may restrict or suspend affected access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent risks may require immediate action. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

If we permanently discontinue a fixed-period prepaid subscription service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will provide an appropriate refund for the unused prepaid period or another remedy you agree to, subject to applicable law. The duration and discontinuation of lifetime access are governed by section 8, including its protections for mandatory rights and earlier purchase promises.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancel recurring billing separately and use the deletion process if you want to delete your account. Provisions concerning accrued payment obligations, ownership, disputes, and liability continue where their purpose requires it.

14. Account deletion

Request deletion through Account & Security in the app or our account-deletion page. Verification may be required to protect your account. Deletion affects account data and access; the Privacy Notice explains limited retained records and recovery-copy handling. A completed deleted account cannot be reopened. Purchase restoration and subscription cancellation are addressed in section 7.

15. Warranties and consumer rights

We do not promise that every data item will be correct, that every aircraft will be visible, or that every notification will arrive. Subject to our express commitments and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is supplied as available, and we disclaim implied warranties only to the extent applicable law permits.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory rights concerning acceptable quality, reasonable care and skill, fitness for a disclosed purpose, digital-service conformity, refunds, or other protections that apply to you. The aviation warnings explain the intended use of the Service; they do not excuse liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limits of liability

Liability is limited only as expressly stated below and only where those limitations are lawful. No provision shifts responsibility for our own unlawful conduct to you.

Subject to the exceptions below and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses and losses of business profits arising from use of the consumer Service. Classification of a loss and the effect of any limitation remain subject to applicable law; this provision does not automatically exclude every missed-flight or travel-expense claim.

These exclusions do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They do not reduce mandatory consumer remedies or an express refund obligation.

17. Complaints, governing law, and disputes

Please contact support@risemodemedia.com with a description of your concern so we can try to resolve it. Contacting support does not prevent you from using remedies, regulators, or courts available under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, and applicable federal law, without applying conflict-of-laws rules that would displace mandatory consumer protections. Subject to any mandatory right you have to use courts in your place of residence, disputes may be brought in the competent state or federal courts located in Georgia, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction. These terms do not require arbitration or waive any non-waivable right to pursue a claim or participate in a proceeding.

18. Changes to these terms

We will identify revised terms by their effective date and version. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide reasonable advance notice through an appropriate account or in-app channel where practical and obtain further agreement where required. Urgent legal or security changes may need a shorter notice period.

Changes will not retroactively rewrite accrued claims or purchased benefits. If you decline a material change, we will explain its effect on continued access and applicable cancellation or refund options. The earlier public terms are available for reference.

19. General provisions

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a permanent waiver. Any transfer of our rights and obligations must preserve protections that applicable law affords you.

These terms, the purchase-specific terms disclosed and agreed when you buy, and any expressly applicable license notices describe the agreement for the Service. A specific purchase promise prevails over a conflicting general provision concerning that purchase. Mandatory law prevails over all of them. Nothing here creates an agency, employment, or partnership relationship.
